The motto of this excursion is: "Il Tancia as you have never seen it before". We will explore the mountainous saddle that straddles the Sabina and the Reatino, interposed between the highest peaks of the Sabine MountainsItaly.

  • The breathtaking views of the basin from the Cima del Monte Ode.
  • The plain and the tavern of Fatucchio, once a refuge for travelers
  • The ruined castles of Fatucchio and tancia once sentinels of the pass and home to ranks of peasants / shepherds
  • Le Pozze del Diavolo, the famous waterfall on the Galantina stream
  • The cave of San Michele is an extremely important place of Michaelic worship which replaced the cult of the Goddess Sabina Vacuna
